Mrs Clement shared with her husband, not only their work as farm leaders in the area, but in work for developing the educational and religious life of the community.

She was the former Ethel Stansell and was born in Fannin County October 21, the daughter of Robert W and Sally Stansell. They farmed in Wilbarger County until they came here.

Mrs Clement was a charter member of the Baptist Church at Oklaunion and with Mr Clement, helped to organize a Baptist Church at Fresno, where the family worshiped a number of years. When rural churches of the county began to decline the family came to First Baptist Church where Mrs Clement worked in many capacities.
