Mrs. Wintress Elliott, 61, a former resident of Fairmount and Danville died at 4 pm Saturday (June 2, 1973) at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, Wood Co., Wis.
Born Nov. 23. 1911, in Fairmount, she was the daughter of Sherman and Catherine Murray Certain. She was married on Sept. 11, 1943 to Ross Bennett who died in Dec. 1967. She married Robert Elliott on May 4, 1968 and he survives. She was a member of the Marshfield Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two sisters; Mrs. Leota Parrish of Fairmount and Mrs. Louise White of Catlin.
Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Carrington Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph L. Bright officiating. Burial in the Davis Cemetery.
