DAN BARNES DIES
Dan Barnes, 79, a native of Vancleave died Sunday night about 7 o'clock at his home on 28th Street.
He was born May 3, 1862.
He is survived by five sons, W.R., G.O., E.L., and O.D. Barnes , Gulfport, and W.A. Barnes, Long Beach; and two daughters, Mrs. M. Eurissa, Gretna, LA; and Mrs. E.G. Smith, Oak Grove, LA.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Riemann's Chapel with Rev. J.O. Lee, officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

He married Frances Theresa Graham July 30, 1888 in Jackson Co Miss., The daughter of William M Graham & Arsula Jane Williams, both buried in the Old King/Cowart/O'Neal Cemetery in SW George Co.
Siblings include; Charlotte Elizabeth Barnes Lyons, Albert 'Abbey' Barnes, David 'Dave' Barnes
