A FATAL DOSE OF POISON. Dec. 9 - Orpheus Everts, Jr., son of the head of the state insane asylum, committed suicide last night with morphine, dying after. He was all of 18 years, and had returned from the Normal School but a few days before on a visit to his parents. During the day he went on a short hunting expedition, coming home at nightfall and was then noticed to be laboring under depression of spirits. Upon swallowing the poison, which was not until retiring for the night, he notified his --- and gave a reason that he was harrassed by bad dreams and visions which harassed him beyond power of sleep.
