14-year old Charles C. Everts is listed as the eldest of five children in the 1870 United States Federal census in the household of Orpheus and Mary Everts. Siblings: Julie W. age 12; Orpheus, 9; William P., 2; and Caroline 9/12.

US City Directories of 1881, 1882 and 1883 list Charles C. Everts first as a medical student renting rooms on N. Tennessee; a dentist at 208 N. Alabama; and dentist with both his practice and residence at 50 E. Washington, all in Indianapolis.

In 1920 Charles C. and Allie W. Everts, ages 63 and 62 respectively are listed in Brown, Morgan County, Indiana.

Charles, one of the three sons of Orpheus and Mary Jane Everts, was a dentist in Indianaoplis for many years. He was buried on March 6, 1929.
