Roberta Jean Pepper, 69 of Port Orchard, died on Aug. 7, 1999, in Port Orchard.
She was born May 14, 1930 in Oakland, Calif. to Robert and Helen (McCollum) Wallace. She grew up in Tracy, Calif., and in Oakland.
She married Gary M. Pepper on Nov. 27, 1967, in Reno, Nev.
Mrs. Pepper was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, John, Dan and Jim Hollis, all of Port Orchard, and Ed Pepper of Walla Walla; two daughters, Janelle Dixon of Silverdale and Janice McElroy of Tracy; two brothers Jack and Jim Wallace, both of Pioneer, Calif.; two sisters, Betty Richmond of Pioneer and Sandra Oaks of Stockton, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bob Gandy, in 1997.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, at Pendelton-Gillcrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
