Florence M. Barnhart, 9, Eldon, died Thursday at Charles E. Still Hospital. She was born July 2, 1910 in Versailles, a daughter of Charles T. and Norma B. Lemons Crider. She was married April 20, 1929, in Union, to Mark T. Barnhart Sr., who died Nov. 22, 1984.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Ulman Baptist Church. She lived in Ulman many years until moving to Eldon in 1984.
Survivors include: eight sons, Donald Barnhart, Kansas City, Jim Barnhart, Olean, Leo Barnhart, Iberia, Ray Barnhart, Pacific, Edd Barnhart, Eldon, Larry Barnhart, Amarillo, Texs, Mark T. Barnhart Jr. and Iva Barnhart, both of Tuscumbia; two daughters, Rosalie Hendry, Wappapello and Henrietta Barnhouse, Olean; two brothers, Frank Crider, state of Oklahoma, and Elmer Crider, Pleasant Hill; five sisters, Ruth Rauls, Rogers, Ark., Ruth Zimmer, Valley Park, Lorene Dunn and Lucille Crider, both of the state of Minnesota, and Ethel Young, Pleasant Hill; 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Mt. Zion Christian Church, Tuscumbia, with the Rev. Gene Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
