Chester Man Taken In Office Of Doctor

Heart Attack Held Cause Of T. L. Campbell's Death

Thomas L. Campbell, 46, stone mason of Carolina ave., Chester, died suddenly of a heart attack in a physician's office in Salem Monday at 4 p.m. Mr. Campbell had been in failing health for about three months. He was returning by automobile to his home in Chester when he was taken ill and was assisted to the physician's office where he died. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Maud Campbell; four daughters, Mrs. Denelda Mercer at home, Mrs. Iampha Shenton of Newell, Mrs. Louella Nicholson of Scottdale, Pa., and Mrs. Alice Chandler of East Liverpool; a step - son, Henry Tasher of East Liverpool; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas S. Campbell of Chester; two brothers, Frank Campbell of Paden City, W.Va., and Ollie Campbell of East Liverpool; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Bontempt of Canton, Mrs. Iamtha Bryan of Stenbenville and Mrs. Elva Cooner of West Palm Beach, Fla. The body was removed to the Stewart funeral home in Hookstown and will be taken today to the home of his father at 245 Carolina ave., where services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. L. H. Roebuck, pastor of the Chester Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the home.
