Grant Cox - Grand Coulee, Wash. No service is planned for Grant Redman Red Cox, at his request. Private inurnment will be at the Almira (Wash.) Cemetery. Strate Funeral Home of Grand Coulee, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Cox, a retired rancher, died Saturday.
He was 77. He was bom in Nespelem, and was raised on the family farm. He ranched at Nespelem until 1985, when he moved to the Senior Manor in Grand Coulee because of failing health. Survivors include three brothers, Harry Cox of Houston, Texas, F.L Cox of West Valley City, Utah, and Ira Jay Cox of Salmon Creek, a sister, Hora Gilbert of Willows, numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Velma Maier of Grand Coulee.
