Ira Jay Cox, 85, of Okanogan, Wash. passed away at the Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash. Thursday morning June 5, 2008 surrounded by family.
Ira was born on Owhi Flats near Nespelem, Wash. on May 26, 1923 to Elmer Ellsworth and Nellie Gertrude (Warehouse) Cox. The youngest and last surviving of seven children, Ira was raised and attended school in Nespelem, Wash.
Services were held at the Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel in Okanogan on Saturday, June 14 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. until services.
Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel was entrusted with services.
