Death and burial information unknown. The death date we have comes from the obituary of one of his sons and is the only known piece of data ever found that mentions a death date.

Dennis was married to Mary Jane Pollock also of Richland Co., Ohio and the daugther of Andrew Pollock and Elizabeth
Gilchrist. They were married in 1833.

Dennis & his family migrated from Richland Co., Ohio, via McClean Co., Illinois in 1854.

In 1855 he is reported as having died: Perhaps in Scott Co., Iowa while rounding up wild horses and was struck down with cholera. However we have no proof of this.
