Siblings of Mary are: Thomas, John, William and James Pollock as well as Cyrus a half brother by her fathers second marriage. With the exception of Thomas who stayed in Ohio the father and other brothers moved on to Indiana.
Per Early Ohio Marriage Records, Mary and Dennis Kline Pearce were married in Richland Co., Ohio on Oct. 01, 1833.
To them were born nine children: Andrew, Elizabeth, Hannah, Aaron, James, Sarah, Mary Ann, Dennis, Margaret.
In 1855 one year after arriving in Iowa, Dennis, her husband died. In all the years of resarching only one note has been found regarding the death of Dennis K. Pearce. It states he died of cholera while rounding up wild horses. True or not? It states he died Aug. 05, 1855.

On Nov. 11, 1860, the widow Mary, is married to Heston C. Paxson in Cedar Co., Iowa. Heston is a Elder in the Church. Their marriage lasted 21 years until his death. He is buried in Rochester, Iowa at Hebron Cemetery.
After Heston's death, Mary relocates to Pottawattamie Co., Iowa to live with her married daughter, Hannah Pearce Bolton. She died at the home of her daughter and is buried across the county line in Montgomery Co., Buckner Cemetery where many of the Bolton Family are buried.
