Mollie Maxine Nelson Pyper age 77, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2000.
She was born August 16, 1923 in Delta, Utah to Lawrence and Mamie Nelson. She married George Pyper and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Maxine was an active member of the LDS Church. She served two missions with her husband George, one to the Oakland Temple and the other to Adam-Ondi-Ahman, she also served in the Salt Lake and Manti Temple. Her family was the love of her life and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Maxine is survived by her three children; Dave (Lindie) Pyper of Mt. Pleasant, Dennis (Nancy) Pyper of Columbus, Ohio, Debbie (Dan) Lambson of Mt. Pleasant, and step-daughter Sheri Walters of Salt Lake City, 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, sister; Cora Kay, brothers; Harold and Ralph Nelson, and sister-in-law; Elaine Nelson. She was preceded in death by her, husband, and three brothers.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28,2 000 at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Pleasant 3rd Ward Chapel (295 S. State St.). Friends and family may call on Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be at the Midway City Cemetery, 600 West 500 South, at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the LDS Missionary fund. Funeral directors, Ursenbach Funeral Home.
