Lillie Mae Aubrey, age 81, of Durham, Oklahoma, died Sunday, October 13, 1968 at Woodward, Oklahoma following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 16, 1968 at the Durham Church of Christ with Leland Burch, minister, officiating.

Lillie Mae was born November 09, 1886 at Washington County, Arkansas to John and Sarah (Eaton) Talkington. Mrs. Aubrey was married to Charley Bradford Aubrey, Sr. on October 05, 1902 at Atoka, Indian Territory. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary before Mr. Aubrey's death in 1953. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two daughters; Mary Elizabeth King and Willie Mae Aubrey and one son.

Survivors are four daughters; Mrs. Lula Cooley, Sacramento, California, Mrs. Ninnie Rorabaugh, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Mrs. Lois Strickland Mead and Mrs. Bonnie Blackmon, both of Woodward, Oklahoma; two sons, Charley Bradford Aubrey, Jr., Perryton, Texas and John Allen Aubrey, Sr. of Rolland Heights, California. One sister, Mrs. Lula Robinson, Campbell, California; one brother, Jeff Talkington, Shady Point, Oklahoma.

Casketbearers were Dick Strickland, Richard Bachman, Bruce Thomas, Jim Brown, Lawrence Beckel and Winston Shindell.

Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery near Durham, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son Funeral Home in charge.
