Larry Keith Allen, 54, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, in Quincy, Fla. The service will be at 10 a.m. EDT Tuesday, June 23, at Independent Funeral Home (850-875-1529) in Quincy, with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 105 N. Jackson St., Quincy, FL 32351. A longtime resident of Quincy, he was a member of Lawrenceville Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, Ga. He also attended Georgia Tech and Florida State University, obtaining his Master's Degree. Survivors include his mother, Doris Allen of Quincy; daughter, Marisa Allen; three brothers, Wayne Allen (Cindy) and Jim Allen (Cathy), both of Tallahassee, Fla., and Tim Allen of Quincy.
