Albert Douglas Bussell, 71, died Friday, June 12, 2009 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.


He was born April 16, 1938 in Nicholas County to the late Allen & Myrtle Belle Farris Bussell was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired farmer.


Survivors include his longtime companion Elsie Bradley, Carlisle, 2 sons, Timothy Douglas & Nathan Allen Bussell, Carlisle, 3 daughters, Janet Foster, Lexington & Cindy Arnett & Lee Anne Purvis, Mt. Sterling, a brother, Kenneth Bussell, Carlisle, 4 sisters, Helen Vaughn, Delores Green, Nancy Smoot & Dorothy Gaunce all of Carlisle and 8 grandchildren.


He was also preceded in death by a brother Chester Bussell and a sister Velma Madeline Bussell.


Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Saturday in the Mt. Zion Cemetery by Rev. Don Toy.
