Born July 22, 1925 in Nicholas County to the late Allen & Myrtle Belle Farris Bussell, she was a retired seamstress with Hansley Mills and Jockey International and longtime member of Carlisle Christian Church.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Jeannie Vaughn and Lana Vaughn (John Cook), both of Carlisle; a brother, Kenneth Bussell, of Moorefield; 2 sisters: Delores Green and Dorothy (Billy Mac) Gaunce, of Carlisle; 3 grandchildren: Kim Snider, Kyla Weaver and Devon Santizo; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers: Doug & Bud Bussell, and 2 sisters: Nancy Smoot & Madelyn Bussell.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith with burial following in Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Monday.
