Carl Russell "Rusty" Ames lost his life in a Drowning Accident. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Urbas Funeral Home in Westville for Carl Russell "Rusty" Ames 13 of Danville Route 1, who drowned Saturday morning (June 16,1973) in the Vermilion River East of Westville. The Rev. Robert Miller will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Pallbearers will be Jerry McCoy, Ed Bean, Jerry Shultz, and Mike Fiztwater. The youth was born Dec. 30,1959, the son of Carl and Alberta Hickman Ames, who survive. Other survivors include three brothers, Tom, Mark, and David all of Danville; three sisters, Mrs.Donna Mae Wallis of Ladysmith Wis. and Mrs.Rose Marie Watson and Miss Marilyn Sue Ames, both of Danville: his grandfather, Arthur Ames of Danville. The youth was a student at Westville Junior High.
