Marie Louise Rothrock, age 92, went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2006.
Marie Louise Rothrock was born on March 18, 1914 in Clearwater, KS, the third child of Linzey Ordway and Lucy (Lauterbaugh) Ordway.
She attended Wellington Schools. There she met and married Alfred Rothrock. Together they lived and worked the farm where they raised five children.
Marie touched so many lives during her lifetime. We are all very thankful for having had her in our lives.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alfred, her daughter Ann McIntyre, grandson Roger Aday, and her sisters Ollie Weins and Lela Jackson.
Survivors include her two sons Charles Rothrock of Winnsboro, TX and Richard Rothrock of Quitman, TX; two daughters Betty Aday of Brownsville, TX and Janet Konczak of Arlington, TX; one brother Otis Ordway of Great Bend, KS; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; three nephews; and five nieces.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Gary Bodine of the Church of Christ will officiate.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 30, 2006 from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
Memorials may be made in memory of Marie to the charity of the donors choice in lieu of flowers.
