Janet Rothrock Konczak, age 77, of Sherman, TX, passed away on August 20, 2023. She was born on December 3, 1945, in Wellington, KS, to Alfred and Marie Rothrock.
Janet was a caring, loving, thoughtful, hard-working, nurturing, and forgiving individual.
Graduating from Wellington Senior High School Wellington, Kansas in 1961.
She dedicated her career to being a proud school bus driver for challenged children. Janet's commitment to her work was evident in the positive impact she had on the lives of the children she transported.
Outside of her career, Janet had a passion for gardening and spending time with her beloved dogs. She found solace and joy in tending to her garden, nurturing plants, and itnessing their growth. Her green thumb and love for nature were evident in the beauty she cultivated in her own backyard.
Janet will be deeply missed by her surviving family members, including her daughters, Amy Carter and Audra Bowden; her granddaughter, Ashley Williams; her grandsons, Kiegan Fischer, Jordan Sinn, and Aedan Bowden; her granddaughters, Sydney Massey, Zoie Brooks, and Jettie Brooks; her great-grandsons, Levi Resecker, Kinzler Burns, Lincoln Burns, and Makai Espitia; and her great-granddaughters, Journi Burns, and Maeleigh Espitia. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Marie Rothrock, her sisters Ruth Aday and Ann McIntyre, and her brothers Charles and Richard Rothrock. She also joins her aunts and uncles who have passed away.
