Lucy was the daughter of John Jackson Jeffreys and Rachel C. Alexander Jeffreys.

She was the spouse of Jesse Marion Bradford.

Mrs. Bradford Called Home

Mrs. Lucy Jane Bradford, 72, died at the home of her daughter, Miss Lura Bradford, Town Creek 3, Saturday morning, following a short illness.

The body will remain at the home of her daughter until 2 p.m. Sunday when services will be held in the Providence church with Rev. Lee Waldrop officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dewey Bradford, Glendon Bradford, Garland Bradford, Billy Bradford, Kennon Bradford and Price Bradford, all grandsons.

The deceased is survived by her husband, J.M. Bradford; three daughters, Mrs. L.M. Terry, of Joiner, Ala; Mrs. Ethel Speegle, of Springville, Ala; and Miss Lura Bradford; five sons, Olon, of Danville; Herbert, of Wolf Springs; Hubert, Loyd and Howard, of Town Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Masterson and Mrs. Elizabeth Parvin and three brothers, Will Jeffreys, of Detroit, and John and Ace Jeffreys, of Town Creek.
