Mary Jean (Lee) Alexander, 81, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of the Franklin United Methodist Community and a former longtime resident of Montgomery County.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan A. (J.T.) Coopman of Needham and Nita A. (Ron) Holcombe of Roswell, Ga.; a son, Greg (Kathy) Alexander of Woodstock, Ga.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melville C. Alexander.
A private memorial service is planned for the spring, with burial at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation and Personalization Center in Morgantown is handling arrangements.
