Graveside services will be held Saturday in Eugene for Cecil Delmar Saxon who died here Thursday after a lung illness. He was 63.
Mr. Saxon was a retired newspaper man. He was circulation manager of the Walla Walla, Washington, Union for nine years. He also was an employee of the Eugene Register-Guard and both the Oregonian and Journal in Portland.
Survivors include his widow, Gladys; and children, Mrs. Mel Frerichs of Stockton, California; Sharon K. Saxon, Sandra L. Saxon, and Donald V. Saxon, all of Florence; Cecil D. Saxon, Eugene, Darwin E. Saxon of California; Robert S. Saxon of Agate Beach; and Buddy D. Saxon of Santa Clara.
The services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at Eugene Masonic Cemetery.
