missed by those left behind. She was a member of the Christian church.
Drucilla was preceded in death by her husband, Popeye; and oldest son, Joe.
She joins her parents, Luther and Sarah Oakley Everhart; three brothers,
James, Clifford and Clarence; and two sisters, Edna and Juanita as she enters
Heaven.
Drucilla was a loving mother to five surviving children and their spouses,
Mike and Wilma Arnold, Church Hill, Tenn., Linda and Roger Hogston, Boiling
Springs, N.C., Pat and Patsy Arnold, Saltville, Stanley and Janie Arnold,
Saltville and Eddie and Janet Arnold, Glade Spring; and a daughter-in-law,
Estelle Arnold of Bristol Tennessee. She is also survived by two brothers,
Henry Everhart, Saltville and Robert Everhart, Saltville; and one sister,
Oakie Keene, Whitewood, Va. She was blessed with 20 grandchildren; 25 great-
grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration service will be held 2 p.m. in the Mount Rose Mausoleum on
Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, with the Rev. Dale Strange officiating. Entombment will
follow in the Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joe Arnold, Stephen Arnold,
Jeff Hogston, Mike Hogston, Chris Hogston, Gerald Arnold, Bubba Arnold and Jed
Arnold. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to
Hospice of Southwest Virginia, 600 West Ridge Road, Wytheville, VA 24382. The
Arnold family would like to express their gratitude to Christine Puckett and
Peggy Debord for their loving care and friendship given to Miss Drucilla
during her illness. A special thank you to the nurses and support personnel of
Hospice of S.W. Virginia. The D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville is
serving the Arnold family.
