Son of Daniel and Marie (Millstead) Watters. He married Grace Woodie on May 1, 1946, in Gallia County, Ohio. She preceded him in death on Nov. 5, 1998. He later married Betty Rexroat on April 1, 2000, in Chillicothe.

Surviving are his wife; three children, Charles Edward (Sharon) Watters, Sallie Sue (Art) Olsen and Paul David (Gayle) Watters; four stepchildren, Clarity Gracie, George David (Marilyn) Rexroat, Linda (Dan) Ryan and Keith Rexroat; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 11 step grandchildren; 16 step greatgrandchildren; his loving dog, Baxter; four brothers, Gerald Watters, Clinton Watters, Andrew Watters and Daniel Watters; and five sisters, Cleo Ferguson, Pauline Spracklin, Hilda Frank, Constance Hostettler and Patricia McCree.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, William and Charles.

Myron was an Air Force veteran, serving from 1941 to 1945.

He worked at North American Aviation and McDonnell Douglas as an airplane mechanic. He went to work for Caterpillar Inc. in 1964 as a mechanic and tool grinder, retiring in 1986.
