Services for Margie Etier Poole, age 79, of Hebert will be held at 10 AM Friday, December 20, 2002 at the Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert with Rev. Don Wright and Rev. J. B. Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Poole was born on February 11, 1923 in Richland Parish to the union of Will and Emma Roberts Etier and died Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at Alpine Nursing Center in Ruston.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Vernon "Bunk" Poole.
Survivors include her daughters: Bunkie Poole Riser of Ruston and Beckie Poole Ledbetter of Grayson; her grandchildren: Trey Riser and his wife Kelly, Marcia Parker and her husband Scott, Christopher Ledbetter, Lucas Ledbetter and Sabra Ledbetter; her great grandchildren: Trevor Riser and Ethan Parker; her brothers: Frank Etier and his wife Dot of Lafayette, James O. Etier and his wife June of West Monroe and Carey Etier and his wife Joy of Atlanta, GA; and her sisters: Annie L. Eaves and her husband Bill of DeQuincy and Betty Sue Etier of Hebert.
Pallbearers will be Robert Washam, Wiley Kelly, Allen Maxwell, Joe Maxwell, Todd Maxwell and Alton Riser.
