Deceased Name: Edith Allen Bodily 88, of Boise, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at a local care center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 11, at the LDS Chapel located at 2290 Warm Springs Ave. A viewing will be held from 10 until 10:45 a.m., Monday at the church prior to the services. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel. 344-4441.

, 86, of Boise, Idaho, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2008. Edith was born February 28, 1922, in Vernal, Utah, to Orin Daniel and Eleanor Merkley Allen. Edith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Keith Levi Bodily; three of her brothers, Carl, Leonard, and Lawrence; and three of her sisters, Viola, Phoebe, and Audrey. She is survived by sisters, Florence Borger (Bountiful, Utah), Annie Roberts (Vernal, Utah); children, Eric A. Bodily (Sharon, Kuna, Idaho), Janet Lyda (Dan, Boise, Idaho), Deborah Larsen (Chris, Chandler, Arizona) and Linda Ellsworth (Brent, Mesa, Arizona); 14 grandchildren; and 11 ½ great-grandchildren.

Edith was a devoted and loyal wife, a sweet and hard-working mother, and a concerned and loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She was employed by Blue Cross of Idaho for 22 years and was an active member of the Boise1stWard of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We will miss our "Sweet Little Mama" but we cherish our memories of her and know her tender spirit is now reunited with her husband and many other loved ones. We thank Edith's ward family and caregivers who have paid such kind attention to her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2007[2008] at the Boise 1st Ward LDS Chapel located at 2290 Warm Springs Avenue. The family will greet friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the Relief Society room at the church prior to the services. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Relyea Funeral Chapel.
