JUDSON C. AIKEN

Whitesboro – Judson Clemans Aiken, 91, of Whitesboro, died Thursday at 5 a.m. at his home, 202 Water St. He was born March 28, 1882 in Georgia, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Aiken. He married Mary Frances Christopher Sept. 5, 1904 in Tioga and was a member of First Baptist Church. Services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in Richards Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Harold Watson will officiate with interment in Whitesboro Cemetery. Survivors are two sons, Carl Aiken of China, Calif., and Leonard Aiken of Dallas; six daughters, Miss Fae Aiken, Mmes. Berdie Snow and Jean Bolin, all of Whitesboro, Mmes. Daisy McCool of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mary Lee Rush of Austin and Kathryn Martin of Galena Park; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 8:30 and at other times at the family home, 202 Water St.

Final Services Held for Judson Clemons Aiken - Final services were held Saturday for Judson Clemons Aiken, 91 who died August 30. Services were conducted by Rev. Harold Watson. Pallbearers were Robert Chapman, Joe Melton, Jim Mires, Ross Stice, Jimmie Hold, and Clarence Hudspeth. Interment was in Whitesboro Cemetery. Mr. Aiken was born March 28, 1882 in Georgia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Aiken. He married Mary Francis Christopher September 5, 1904 in Tioga. She preceded him in death Sept. 12, 1969. Surviving are two sons, Carl Aiken of Chino, Calif., and Leonard Aiken of Dallas; six daughters Mrs. Berdie Snow of Whitesboro, Miss Fae Aiken of Whitesboro, Mrs. Jean Bolin of Whitesboro, Mrs. Daisy McCool of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. Mary Lee Rush of Austin, and Mrs. Kathryn Martin of Galena Park, Texas; 19 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
