Retired. Cecil E. Aiken started working in 1919 as a laborer in the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Roundhouse at Wichita Falls, Texas. He later transferred to a fireman position. 1923 he accepted employment on the Orient Railroad which was taken over in 1929 by the Santa Fe. 1941 he was promoted to engineer and retired April 12, 1962. His plans now are to just "take it easy".......Dec. 1962 issue of "Brotherhood Locomotive Fireman and Enginemen's Magazine" pg 272.
