Barbara H. Robinson, 82, of Anderson, passed away July 27, 2008, at Saint John's Medical Center after an extended illness.
She was born June 24, 1926, in Alexandria, the daughter of Harold and Pearl (Gipe) Hosier, and lived most of her life in Anderson.
She graduated from Anderson High School and retired from Delco Remy after 31 years of employment.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, James and Peggy Hosier of Pendleton; her sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Bob Paynter of Okeechobee, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by parents; her husband, John Robinson; and three brothers, Jack Hosier, Gene Hosier and Danny Hosier.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, with the Revs. Mike Robbins and Sue Jones officiating. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
