James Dale Hosier, 73, of Pendleton, passed away on Feb. 23, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.
James was born on Dec. 30, 1947, in Anderson, to Harold and Pearl (Gipe) Hosier. In 1975, he married Peggy Rector, and they began their life together.
He was a veteran of the Indiana National Guard and was a retiree from Delco Remy after many years of faithful service.
James loved drag racing, and was an overall car enthusiast. However, he loved his family and spending time with them more than anything.
James is survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Jason (Megan) Hosier, Tony Hosier and Stacey (Steve) Beck; five grandchildren, Sophie, Carter, Ryder, Mia and Ava; sister, Peggy Paynter.
James was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Jack Hosier, Gene Hosier, Danny Hosier and Barbara Robinson.
Funeral services for James will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Entombment will follow in Anderson Memorial Park.
