Arlen Joe Mattingly, 66, of Cloverport, died Friday, October 7, 1994, at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Glen Dean, a son of the late Arthur William & Zora McGuffin Mattingly. He was retried from the Army Corps of Engineers Cannelton Locks, after serving 37 years. He was a member of the Cloverport Baptist Church and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Clark Mattingly; 2 sons, Alfred Clark Mattingly of Pompano Beach, FL, and the Rev. Timothy William Mattingly of Cloverport; 4 daughters, Diana Sue Powers of Owensboro, Patricia Darlane Hurt of Bowling Green, Lanita Mae Robertson of Hawesville and Belinda Kay Williams of Cloverport; 4 brothers, J.A. Mattingly and Arlie Mattingly, both of Louisville, Argus Mattingly of Sacramento and Monnin Mattingly of Little Rock, AR; 2 sisters, Mrs. Dailey Peterson of Tampa, FL, and Nellie Reid of Hardinsburg; and 14 grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at the Cloverport Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Cloverport Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home in Cloverport.
