He was a retired truck driver from the old OK Trucking Co., where he worked for 33 years, a World War II Navy veteran and a Mason. He was a member of the South Minister Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter, two brothers, a sister, 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral: noon Saturday at W.G. Hardy-Valley Chapel.
Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens-West.
Visitation: 1-8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
