Bartlesville, Oklahoma
Faye Laura Burnside, 83, of Nowata and a former longtime resident of Bartlesville, died Wednesday evening at Nowata Nursing Center. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery in Vinita under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service. Rev. Rick Thayer will officiate. She was born on January 15, 1914 in White Oak to Charles and Myrtle Ina (Littrell) Crocker. She graduated from Chelsea High School with the Class of 1934 and married Robert Henry Burnside on May 24, 1942 in Jay. She was employed at Bartlesville Electric Company prior to her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Evelyn Hope Bowman. She is survived by her sister, Jimmie Ladene Mitchell of Nowata.
