Evelyn Hope Bowman, 64, of Nowata died on September 21, 1985 at Jane Phillips Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Nowata with Dr. Allen Schneider officiating. Interment will be in Nowata Memorial Park under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service. She was born on June 19, 1921 in Chelsea to Charles and Myrtle Ina (Littrell) Crocker. She married Arthur Bowman on September 2, 1940 in Bartlesville. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her son, Charles Bowman of Bartlesville; her sisters, Jimmie Ladene Mitchell of Nowata and Faye Laura Burnside of Bartlesville; and two grandchildren.
