Nancy Syrena was a daughter of Joel Cornelius and Mary "Polly" Easley. She married Levi Wilson Armstrong July 8, 1860 in Blount County Alabama.
They moved from Blount County Alabama to Ellis County Texas in 1881. No children were born to Nancy and Levi.

Sereny Cornelius was born December 1842 and died July 1, 1912. She professed daith in Christ at the age of twelve years and has lived a faithful Christain all her life. She was united im marriage to L.W. Armstrong July 10, 1860. All the community extend their sympathy to the bereaved husband and relatives. They laid her remain in the in the Oak Branch cemetery, Rev. P.P. Bearden, R.F. Dunn and John Curtis were present and all took part in the burial service. A large crowd was present to witness the last sad rites.
