Ruel Arthur Bain, 69, of Kingston, died Saturday.
A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Youngs Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was a member of Union Lodge 38, F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Marie Huggins Bain; three sons, Joel Edwin Bain of Johannesburg, South Africa, Daniel Lloyd Bain and Steven Douglas Bain both of Kingston; two brothers, Robert Curtis Bain of Englewood and Edward Hugh Bain of Athens; two sisters, Katherine Watson and Dianne Constant both of Englewood; seven grandchildren, Donna Green, Joanna Bain, Wendy Myers, Jonathan Bain, Joshua Bain, Timothy Bain and Tisha Bain; and one great-grandchild, Christian Bain.
The Rev. Effert Snodderly and the Rev. David Craig officiated the 8 p.m. funeral service Sunday. Burial was to have been 10:30 a.m. today at Kingston Memorial Gardens.
