She was born November 17, 1902, the daughter of the late James Harlan and Rose Winters Trent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur, a son, Otis Neil, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Demeire. Benham was a homemaker and a member of Weldon Christian Church.
She is survived by five children, Geneva Craig, Wanda Peter, both of Lansing, Mich.; Bonnie Raymer, Louisville; Velma Benham, Nevitt Benham, both of Brandenburg; a sister, Mildred Ballard, Naples Fla., 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 28 from the Chapel of Hager Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer Wheatley officiating. Burial was in Weldon Christian Church Cemetery.
