Jan 21, 1918 - May 2, 2008 Resident of Los Gatos Leona "Gerri" Bauerly was born in 1918 in Iowa to Paul and Jenny Tracy. Geri passed in Los Gatos, California on May 2, 2008. Before moving to Los Gatos, she lived in Castro Valley for 50 years. Gerri's happiest and most valued times in life were when her family surrounded her. she was the beloved wife of Arnold Bauerly for 69 years, and cherished mother of Arnold Bauerly, Jr., Lloyd Bauerly, Gina Kottmeier and William Bauerly. She is also survived by and will be greatly missed by her son-in-law Bill Kottmeier, and daughter-in-law, Nancy Bauerly, Jan Bauerly, and Beatrice Bauerly. Her abounding love is remembered in the hears of her 7 grandchildren and her 3 great grandchildren. Wife, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma, we love you and thank you for all of the wonderful memories. Family and friends are invited to a visitation and Vigil Service from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, May 6th at Holy Angels Sorensen Chapel, 1140 B. St., Hayward. The Funeral Mass service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at Our Lady of Grace Church in Castro Valley, CA at 10:30 am. This will be followed by a burial service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
