Services for Flora Goodman, 84, of Whitten, who died Saturday, April 18 at Grandview Heights Nursing Home, Marshalltown, will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Dillon. Rev. Orville Yank will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Flora was born Sept. 1, 1907, in Dillon to George and Minnie Frieboth Wolken. She grew up in Dillon. On Dec. 23, 1926, she married Monroe Goodman in Dillon and they farmed near Dillon until 1941, when they moved to a farm near Whitten.
She was a member of the Lutheran faith and the Kensington Club. She entered Grandview Heights in 1987.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Paglia, and two sons, Russell and John Goodman; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Ernest, a brother, four sisters, and a grandchild.
