Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Mae Dark, 82, of Tyler Route 4 are set at 4 pm Sunday (January 25, 1970) in the Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev. A.C. Pettus, the Rev. E.W. Kiser and the Rev. B.C. McCoy officiating.

Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Smith County under the direction of Forester Funeral Home.
She died at 12:30 pm Saturday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was a long time resident of the Walnut Grove Community and a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

Survivors inlcude two sons, Ary Dark of Troup, and Perry Dark of Tyler; eight daughters Mrs. Lottie Terry of Beaumont, Mrs Jewel Hays of Bullard, Mrs. Emma Dowdy of Troup, Mrs Ellie Ivy, Mrs Clara West, Mrs. Agnes Roycroft, all o fTyler, Mrs. Lillian Dawson, Mrs. Thelma DuVall, both of Benton, Ark.; two brothers, Lee Bunch and Mack Bunch, both of Coolideg; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Munden of Marshall, Mrs Florence Munden of Howe, and Mrs. Della Patterson of Pasadena; 36 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be J.L. Hays, David West, Kenneth Dowdy, Billy Roycroft, Charles Dark and Morris Ivy.
