Wilburn Theodore Kemp, Sr., 56, Broken Bow, died Monday in the DeQueen General Hospital in DeQueen, Ark.

Born May 2, 1925 in Clark, La., he had lived in the Broken Bow area all of his life. He was a construction worker, a veteran of World War II and a member of the Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife, Marie, of Broken Bow; three sons, Jim Massey and W. T. "Ted" Kemp, both of Ore City, Tex., and Jerrel Massey of Dayton, Tex.; two daughters, Carolyn Edwards of Harelton, Tex., and Bonnie Baggs of Prckens; one brother, Topsie Kemp of Broken Bow; two sisters, Johnie Fae Landers of Dallas, Tex., and Lena Mae Clanton of Antlers; 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today in the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with Rev. Bernard Escalante officiating.

Arrangements and burial in the Broken Bow cemetery were under the direction of Norwood Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
