Carolyn Marie (Kemp) Edwards, 42, of Longview, Texas, and formerly of Broken Bow, died Monday at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
She was born May 12, 1949, in Cerrogordo. She had lived in Longview, Texas, since 1977 moving there from Broken Bow. She was a self-employed wall paper hanger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Kemp, in 1981.
She is survived by her mother, Marie Kemp of Broken Bow; her maternal grandmother, Birdie McGough of Broken Bow; two daughters, Kelly Miller and Sheila Edwards, both of Longview, Texas; three brothers, Jim Massey of Harleton, Texas, Jerrel Massey of Ft. Worth, Texas and Theodore Kemp Jr. of Broken Bow; one sister, Bonnie Kemp of Broken Bow; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Nation Chapel in Broken Bow. Burial will be in Broken Bow Cemetery under direction of Nation Funeral Home of Broken Bow.
