Mary Rose Brock,68, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at her home.
She was a native of Sellersburg, IN and a member of St. Joe Hill Catholic Church, a member of the choir, a quilter, CCD teacher and a member of the Womens Club, and retired from the Sheffield Square Apartments, New Albany, and worked for Louisville Bedding, and Brockway Plastics, Jeffersonville, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brock, Jr., and a brother, Louie "Bud" Rauck, Jr.; and two daughters, Donna Marie Brock and Mary Louise Brock.
Surviving are: son, Keith Brock and his wife, Jill of Sellersburg, IN; daughter, Laura Snelling and her husband Richard of Memphis, IN; brother, Mike Rauck of Sellersburg, IN; four sisters, Alberta Zenor of Jeffersonville, IN, Norma Balentine of Sellersburg, Martha Lozier of Sellersburg and Joanie Worrall of New Salsbury, IN; four grandchildren, Emily Morgan, Drew Michael Brock, Cassidy Rose Roberts, and Haley Gabrielle Brock; and two step-grandchildren, Andrew Snelling and Morgan Snelling.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joe Hill Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held noon-8 p.m. Friday at the Garr Funeral Home. Published in The Courier-Journal on 5/24/2007.
