Margaret D. Berg, age 90, of the Lost Grove area, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Mineral Point Care Center. She was born in the Lost Grove area on August 28, 1916, the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Mick) Berg. She married Carl Berg on November 21, 1940 and they lived in the Lost Grove area their entire life. She enjoyed gardening, embroidering and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her seven children, Virginia (Bill) Reynolds, Wayne Berg, both of Lost Grove area, Jerry (Pat) Berg, of Livingston, Sharon (Tom) Meylor, of Belmont, Diane (Wesley) Vickers, of Janesville, Henrietta (David) Nyhus, of Blanchardville and David Berg, of Dodgeville; 19 grandchildren; 21 ½ great grandchildren; a brother, Michael Berg, of Stoughton; a sister, Anna Mae (Lavern) Schaaf, of Mineral Point. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl, on June 8, 1982, a son, Eugene, on July 10, 2006, two brothers, Frank and Bernard Berg, two sisters, Catherine Thomas and Josephine Kieffer.
