He was a farmer and a semi-truck driver. Michael enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.
He leaves behind two daughters and their husbands, two sons, a daughter-in-law, 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister.
Michael was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Berg; three brothers; and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m., at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Stoughton.
