Mrs. Rache) Branon, 87 years old, died at noon Saturday at the Camp Ground following two weeks illness with pneumonia.
A daughter of Hugh and Mary Engle Elliott, Mrs. Branon was born in Knox County November 23, 1855.
She was married in 1875 to Mr. Lee Roy Branon, who preceded her in death several years ago.
Surviving are four sons, three daughters and one sister.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the McHargue Christian church and interment followed in the church cemetery by Cox and Begley.
