Ruby Booten

Ruby P. Booten, 83, of River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Burlington, died at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Nov. 19, 1915, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Fred and Clara B. Brand Coolbaugh. On July 19, 1935, she married Allen Dale Booten in Macomb, Ill. He died Nov. 11, 1991.

Mrs. Booten was a housewife. She was a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Johnston and Lahoma Sanders, both of Burlington; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one son.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in Prugh's Chapel.

The graveside committal service for Mrs. Booten will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Keith Selberg officiating.

A memorial has been established.
