Estelle Rollison was the daughter of Rosa Coffey Rollison and Thaddeus Rollison. Along with four other members of her family she passed away in 1920 from the flu epidemic which started in 1918. Her sister Ina Rollison Vos was the first flu victim in their family, followed by their brother Ralph, then Estelle and three days after Estelle their brother Charley passed away. Four months later their mother, Rosa also died as a result of the flu.
