Charles Shelton Rollison was the son of Rosa Coffey and Thaddeus Rollison. He was a successful farmer. Charles along with four other members of his family died during the flu epidemic which began in 1918. His sister Ina Rollison Vos was the first flu victim, followed by their brother Ralph and sister Estelle. Their mother was the final member of the family to die from the flu less than four months later.
